Wont run and backfires

Hello, I have a 1997 GP 3.1 auto. It rolls over but wont run. I have 45psi fuel pressure. Getting good spark. The only way it even acts like it wants to hit, is if I give it about 3/4 throttle. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. thanks
