i guess my wifes leaving me all because i said our kids need to show more respect and she needs to back me up(they are her daughters but ive raised them since 3-5 now they are 8-10)

well heres my secret . . . just keep quiet. . . they won't have anythin to use against u if uve said nothing, essentially uve done nothing wrong. dont give advice, let them learn on there own and once it blows up in her face then humbily tell her wat shes done wrong. but one thing i do is never make sure wat shes doing is gonna hurt u . . financially, physically, mentally etc. . .

i feel you man. either two things here. u might not be giving the full story. or shes just that ignorant to leave u because u told ur own kids to show respect. that u shouldn't ask for but is due. i feel its more to the story then just that and it usually is.
 
just basic stress of marrage both in school and day to day stress Nothing to tip the scales that much but her kids are her life and she acts as if they need special treatment cause their bio dad isnt in the picture any more but ive raised them for 5 years

i have kids so i cant shut down someone with kids but i guess im differnt i had a step day raised me from 3 till he passed away when i was 19 it was a good upbringing i dont see kids as stepkids but mine guess i was wrong

yeah man, gotta realize in this day in age and not like back in the day kids are lazy. ive never been so appauled in my life. . . there disrespectful, there fat cuz alls they know is food, they have no values ar morals, they do the opposite of everything there told is bad for them,....and the list goes on. im a supervisor and in my line of work it deals with a little bit of phhsical labor. wen ur told to wash the dishes or sweep the floor u do it because ur getting paid....and the things that come out of there mouth "i don't wash the dishes at home so why would i wash them here." like are u fcuking serious??? i pitty these kids now a days. but if they don't learn now there gonna find out the hard way.
 
its basically more or less how the pparents raise them. which is the crazy thing about it. in households with parents that don't care and let the children do anything they want ull find distraught kids who don't know anybetter. thats why im successfull now because since i was little ive been beat . . .yes i said beat . . . to understand wats right and wats wrong and that nothing comes easy and never take anything for granted cuz it can get taken away. now a days they look for shortcuts and wen u look for shortcuts ur just short cuttin ya damn self.
 
yea ive been working since i was 10 stuffing envolopres at my days printing company and yard work and chores and all kindsa **** its pretty sad nowadays im willing to take a fast foor job most 16 year olds wont

but everything will work out and honestly if the chick wants to end your marrige just like that over some constructive critisism, then id take the oppportunity to get out while its there. just me though
