wiring questions

im gonna put floorboard leds in my 03 gt this weekend but i have no clue where to start i checked all the how to forum but nothing. i want them hooked in with the dome map lamps ect. where they only come on when i open a door turn the car off or with the dimmr wheel can anyone explain 2 me how 2 do this i have no clue where 2 start

pretty sure most just use led bulbs in place of the stock bulbs.

i would splice into the stock foot ones or just cut them out all together ive got leds at my feet but have a sepperate toggle switch to turn them on when ever. if you splice in to or just cut the wire to the foot light and wire in your own then u dont have to play with anything just wire in your own lights mount and enjoy

and its not an actual led kit i just dont know where 2 splice the + into

If you want them to come on as you've said. Splice into the existing light in the footwell area, up under the dash.
