Wiring harness replacement.

Hey guys im workin on a 01 gtp got the motor and tranny out and a cat or something chewed this harness all up:mad: anyway i was thinking of swapping the harness out instead of repairing the wires. My question is is the 3800 n/a same as the sc wiring harness and are any specific years different in the series 2?
 


you'll want a harness out of a supercharged gtp, being a 01 you limited by your years due to the maf. you may have to cut and re solder some of the pig tails that dont match.

repairing the chewed up harness is ok to do. make sure you solder the wires and use shrink tubes to make it weather tight for ever.

if you never soldered wires before, dont worry, its easy, search youtube for how to vids. a iron, solder and shrink tubes cost less then another harness for sure.

i got my iron for 3 bucks and the tubes for 3 bucks on sale at harbor freight, the solder i got at radio shack, flux core solder, cost 5 bucks.
