how do i get my a pillar gauges hooked up to the 02 sensor...should i just go through the fire wall? or is there a easier way to get it on the outside of the car?
 


use the search bar it will do wonders. and instead of posting more and more threads of the some topic just bump the orginal one it will prevent a lot of people hating you.
 
If you can't find a grommet on the drivers firewall to pass the wiring through you might have to find a place to drill and use some sort of grommet. You don't want wires rubbing a drilled hole. No one answered this cause it's not that hard to figure out. Not trying to be a dick, but it's one of those things you learn by going right into and not asking for help til you have problem with let's say the gauge not working at all. What do your destructions that came with the gauge say?
 


We can only help through somewhat description. Some things like simple wire running is all on you, if you have even the slightest mechanical inclination, this gauge thing should be no problem.
 
its really hard to explain how to do something you just need to go out and try it learn from mistakes
 


its not the fact of i dont like know how they work. i want it to look like the dealer did it. like idk i just really go for how clean it looks and it working perfectly. but yeah i get what u guys are saying
 
It took me the better part of a day to run the amp wiring (PWR, Remote, RCA's, Bass Controler) in my ride cause instead of trying the short route of removing some door trim I removed the passenger seat and entire rear seats, then lifted the carpet, ran the wiring right up the center, all nice and hidden. When I did the remote start, it also took almost the entire day cause I looked for the the best route then took my time running all the wiring, used a sh1t ton of zip strips. Made sure that when you sit in my car there are no visible wires and nothing dangling on your feet. Running wire is something that takes practice and patience, but it's not that hard. If you do short cuts they will come back to bite you in the a$$.
 
my wires for the amp is real clean.. like i almost did the same thing u did but i went under the trim and then pulled back carpet up and went under that to the middle of the seat then went into trunk and for the ground i took the carpet up and put it on a bolt then put the carpet back were did u run the power wire because i had to drill into the wheel well and then back into the car on the passenger side but you can barely tell the wire is there
 
For my power I went on the passenger side, in between the top of the fender near the windshield cowl down to the rubber tube covering the wires going to the door, cut a slit and used a coat hanger to "FISH" the wire through to the passenger kick panel, then down the middle with the rest of the Amp wires. The ground I attached to the strut tower wall, used a wire brush to get bare metal contact, then used a 1/4 inch self taping screw to secure it. My ground wire is 2 gauge though. Oh I sealed that cut where I ran my power cable with some clear RTV, (knock on wood) no leaks yet.

See, if you can run amp wires, then gauge wiring should be a nice, fun job for you. Don't sweat the small stuff, we got you bro.
 
another noob question. I was putting my gauges in and I ran into a little problem. I was told my boost/vacuum guage wont work because I do not have a supercharger and it wont have enough vacuum to make the guage work. is this true? also I looked around and couldn't find a vacuum hose to put my T in. any help?
 


Vacuum will work fine. If you want stuff to look good like the factory, take your time and do that level of job on it.

If you make more than one post for the same thing...I'll lock and delete on you.
 
Yeah that was a while ago didn't know the rules and stuff of the forum yet but thanks for answering my question
