My 98trans wire harness crumbled when i tried to remove it. I then ordered a 19few pin connector wire harness on accident
Of cousr i really needed the 14 pin for my year. Well i go to the trans part store and ask for a wire harness and they bring out a "universal" that will worl with all years. Funny thing is, it had 19 pin connector, just like the one i ordered on accident. So my question is, are all 19you pin connectors backwards compatable? If that is the case, i will sell the new one i just bought to recoup the money, and usr the first one i ordered on accident
 


Yes..they are. You only hook up the wires you need. About 14. The others are for things like the internal PNP switch that you don't have.
 
cool, well i paid 20 dollars on Ebay for the used 19 pin, then i just paid 90 dollars for a brand new wire harness that looked exactly the same to me. So i am glad to hear that i can use the 20 dollar one and sell the 90 dollar one. Thanks.

The trans shop was so far away from where i live, i did not want to have to go back for it, so i picked it up. I can always sell it on ebay, even if i lose l a little that would be better than being wrong and having to drive all the way back out there.

Anyone need one? 80 bux shipped, brand new? :)
