Wiper blades stupid question

I made the mistake of trying to use my frozen wiper blades and so the driver's side started going a lot slower then the passenger to the point where it would just not move and the passenger would run over it. After doing some tinkering which I probably shouldn't have, the passenger side still moves but the driver's side won't move at all. Anything I can do to fix this?

try tightening the bolt down at the end of the arm. happened to me last winter...then i f'd it up and had to buy 2 new blades :th_thumb-down:

Yes there is only one motor that moves both blades. If the pass side works fine, then I also suspect the arm bolt for the driver's came loose.

I am not sure since I just got my car and am still learning... There is one nut for each arm you can see when you open the hood. Usualy there is a black plastic cap over the nut too. I would start there and make sure both arms are secure from there.

If so, then the black plastic trim that runs from side to side, the width of the car and under the wiper arms, needs to come off and then you can inspcet the linkage from there.

Here is a link on the arm nuts under the caps and how to get them off, and the plastic trim piece if you need to go that far.
