Winter tires, rims and being lowered.

I bought the 03 Regal with aftermarket rims and now that winter is rolling around I would like to prepare myself for the upcoming MN winter, by doing so I will need to purchase a stock set of (insert w-body here) while more commonly seeing torque stars, etc on CL. Obviously, I don't care about looks over performance of the application but my question to you would be... Do I need to worry that much about tire size and being lowered as far as rubbing? I have SSC's on 18's with 245/45/18 tires and no issues at all, maybe this is a dumb question but I'd hate to buy brand new tires + rims that come with a bunch of issues because of an error on my part.

Winter tires. Ssc in front , custom in rear , torque stars with snows

What is your budget - I might be willing to let mine go? I have 1 season on a set of General Altimax Arctics on new steel wheels. Everything is stock sizing for and 08 Grand Prix. I'm also in MN.

The worst part of this thread is we are all destroying our cars with salt
those coil overs plus salt is not good.
Glad I only had to run mine a couple times. And just that little bit of salt made a mess

I'm pretty flexible, this will allow me to hold off on summer tires once I'm able to switch over to winter tires. If you want, shoot me a PM with pics and price if you're willing to get the ball rolling.
