Winter Demod

Do you guys demod at all appearance or perofrmance during the winter? I take off the 18's and put on the factory 16's with snow tires (winterquest) but I'm thinking of switching my factory hood for my Inferno hood. Anybody else?

I usually keep everything the way it is. Putting in a 180 T Stat this summer, maybe swap back to 195 when it's winter just for the added heat. Never heard anyone mention it before.

^same here. Sung as a bug during bad weather.

The work truck get all the abuse year round.

The GF's GTP is her daily driver, so I switch out her Helo's and install her factory cross lace wheels with good winter tires on them. That way the salt can eat at them, and if she hits a curb, so what, those are some ugly ass rims. Then we can run her 17" chrome 077's cause nobody wants to buy them.

Luckily we do'nt see much winter in southern Texas, but I feel for you guys being a transplanted Canadian.Chico

yep i do a winter demod.

I switch to stock wheels. i remove my mpd f1 spolier and put a stocker in its place. Also, change intakes for winter.

I guess thats it.

Not to bad really.

I am however have a few projects underway :) (powdercoating the 18's, roof rails, and removing door moldings):)

Why would one replace a cold air intake with stock over the winter? I had a GTX hood/ intake installed on a previous Grand Prix and never changed back during the 2 winters I had it.
