i couldnt get one to seal for **** so i went back to a stock gasket and never had a problem.

lovely, SCREW YOU ZZP for selling me overpriced crap.

i hear complaints of oil issues with them. oh well hopefully the stores around here have the stock gasket or i'll have to wait.

Lol, I guess I am the lucky guy then. I got the garlock gasket, torqued the bolts to spec, and it was fine...

Though, I've never heard anything bad about the stock gaskets, so I'd probably run those and be sure, then have to tear the intake back off due to a issue that could be fixed easily while its still torn down.

a lot of people as of late have been making their own silicon gaskets. maybe give that a whirl?

Or just buy one from GM in the first place and be happy it works the 1st time?

Got a felpro gasket today, 10 bucks, and my 3.3 pulley arrived i ordered it yesterday at 4pm and got it today at 3pm :D i love ZZP and 3800Performance being right around the block lol



also i have the chance to get like new MSD coils AND wires for 120 dollars. should i get them?

NOOO...MSD coils are ****

all 3 of mine failed, 1 of which was totally destroyed.

Just stick with Stock coils, and w/e wires you want.

Your not running abs correct? If that's the case why not remove all the abs crap? It's a nice little weight savings, and it really cleans up under the hood.

I've used nothing but garlock's on my last 6 builds over the year's and I've never once had any issues with them. But who knows?

X2.. Stay away from the MSD Coils, the fastest w-bodys in the nation are still running around on stock coils with zero issues so why chage somthing that work's so well? They have a high failuer rate and tend to enjoy making misfire's. I feel like your better off taking that 120 dollar's and putting that towards your gen 5 funds.

Doing Roller Rockers or looking into a cam?

Also im thinking of just selling my head lights and corner lights. with the brackets and wires
i really want Halos

And i finally got my smooth valve covers, front and back done, but now im not sure if i want to use them. so they may be up for sale as well.

thanks, i finally have motivation again to work on the car. i kinda lost interest. things weren't going well at all.
