Window Tinting

Oh trust me, i love tint, ive got 20% all way around.. but i did that on my own, didnt ask others what they thought, didnt change my mind several times before doing it.. I just did it.. Not to be a dick or anything, but far too many window tint threads around here, all looking for opinions, its your car do with it what you please.
personally 2 diff tints is ugly, im not a huge fan of light tint either, or too dark..

i agree, its your preference in the end. but the 2 different %'s of tint is up to weather or not you will be hassled by the man. and i prefer not to be hassled.

i was the same way with my trucks back windows, i just did it because i wanted it done. and its so nice not to have the sun beating on you( in a truck with a standard cab anyways)

5% FTW. I have a black 04 gtp. Back three windows only in Michigan. It was 200 bucks. I would have paid whatever. It takes a certain individual to be able to do tinting. It's not me! =D

problem is i'll be driving in the city for the school year so i gotta go with the 35 for the front, which i believe is lowest legal to not get hasseled at. but i wanted darker for bark three but 5's way too dark i cant see out at night lol might as well just spray paint the rear windshield. so i wanna go with 20 not too much difference but still darker

its time to start trusting your side view mirrors. i had my back window in my pick up limo tint dark, saw nothing out the back at night, and i snow plowed with it like that, all mirrors.

i dont like driving with people who look over their shoulder to change lanes or get on the highway, makes me feel uneasy, im constantly thinking this guy don't know how to look through a mirror. or set it up right. or know whats next to him. OMG!

I use my mirrors and Check blind spots etc. I find sometimes 20% too dark at night. But only when there's no street lights. In the city it just fine. Anything then 20 is too dark imo

Do you have a pic of your car after the tints Oxfire
and yea Im friends with a few troopers but there are others that wouldnt give me a break, not to mention cops in the city

You can used your side mirrors all you want and still get clipped by someone in your blindspot. If you aren't, you better start doing both or you're going to end up with some dents. ;)

never had a problem with blind spots, if the mirrors are set up right, you move your body to look into wider spots, if you are the guy who looks over his shoulder and while doing so jerks the wheel , then catches it, then changes lanes, ill walk. (not saying you, i mean in general)

i drive trucks all day, we aint got no sticking rear view mirrors, and you cant look over your shoulder. hence the trust what you see.

ever notice the small window on the bottom of trucks pass doors? thats to see if a car is there, that is a blind spot lol
