So im getting new window tint sometime next week because whats on my car is like purple. so when i got quote, they are charging me $50 an hour for removal so i decided to do it myself, as i started to take it off, i found out BOTH my back windows dont go down anymore, so since i already started the removal process i finished it up but i cant get the very top of the window because the windows dont go down. i only did this one window and not the other side but any suggestions on how to get that top part. my 3 options were: 1) Leave it for the tint shop and hope they can do it. 2) Get my back two windows fixed which is very expensive. 3) Hope someone has an idea how to get that tint off or get the window down a bit.

i would get those windows working first, as tint is gonna last a long time. our minivan, we had the front windows done up and the passenger window wasn't working. and now the tint doesn't go up very high whereas the other window that did work has tint up to the edge. so i would fix the windows bro.

Figuring out whats wrong with your windows would be a good start.

They may need to roll them down some to get the top of the glass anyway.

my guess its the regulators in the windows but not sure, getting the windows fixed is so damn expensive. i was hoping i could get around that but maybe not

If your place is anything like mine, they won't tint unless windows work.
My place refuses to tint with non-working windows.
I took mine in to get done last spring and the passenger window was holding on by a thread but still working and he still complained about it.
