window tint and maybe tail light tint

I'm thinking about getting my windows tinted and I went and got an estimate from the local shop and they quoted me for $240 for all the windows except windshield of course. I'm new to tint so I was just wondering if that is a good price. I was thinking about tinting my tails also either by VHT or actual tint put on. Does anyone know if the vinyl tint stays well on the tail lights? I also have a left tail light that lets more light out than the right so it looks pink so would tinting it either way fix that problem or would it still shine brighter than the right side. That would be the main reason that I would tint the tails in the first place.

Get new OEM tails off of EBay...have them tinted professionally at a body shop...mix some black and clear together...spray 'em.

I get lifetime warranty tint for $150~...$240 is a rip off unless they have to remove some factory clear tint or something...

Make sure that shop you choose has llumar tint... ITS THE BEST!

I have the safty tint on my driver and pass windows... Last summer got the chance to some1 try try and try to break the window to steal shiit! Poor theif! Haahahhahaha

Looks like the better deal would be to just go ahead and switch to the red LED's for $150 off ebay. are the led's alright? What are the main draw backs and does it just plug into the regular wiring harness?

the LEDS off ebay are pretty good. They are also just plug and play install.
