Window Motor replacement...Fml.

This isn't a question of how to change it, just one of preferred equipment. Anyone to stay away from? I'm going to try and refurb my old one and see if I can get it to hold over for a little while longer Until I can get a replacement here. What company has the better of one though? Thanks in advance

Pretty sure it's the motor, window kept getting slower and slower over time to the point where it'd have to be helped in spots. I'm gonna pull the panel and look and see if some lithium grease will help move things around. I was pretty ticked so I fortunately got it in the up position and just walked away.

just buy a whole new regulator. the cable slides tear up the cable most of the time. then you got a cable thats all frayed up.

So I refurbished the motor. Every thing went nice and smooth. Inspected the cables, track, all the hardware and it looks great. This issue I'm having now is somehow I've reversed the polarity of the motor/switch. It goes up and down perfectly, better than its ever done, but when I push the switch down The window goes up and vise versa. I assembled everything as it was removed. Any ideas? This is only a temporary fix so I'm not too worried about it, jjust more curious than anything.

Just use a small pick and pull up on the release tabs on the harness end of the window motor plug. The wires will pull out of the plug and you can just reverse them and make the window go the direction you want. Done this a few times with aftermarket motors. Should be a brown and blue wire IIRC.

Yea I seen that. I'm going to give it a few weeks and see how the motor holds up. If I don't see any issues with it I'll switch it around. Thanks for the input

Buy the whole thing on eBay. $35 for a motor with regulator. It's still working fine for me. Like a year and a half already c
