Ok so my friend noticed that some kid was talking crap online saying that his GTP was a rust bucket. So my friend sets up a race with the kid just to see what happens. He is going to be racing a 2000 Audi A6 2.7T. The car is completely bone stock. My friends gtp has a 3.4 pulley set up straight exhaust (no C.Conv) tune, CAI, everything needed for the pulley. They are going to be going from a 35mph run. I need some opinions on whos going to win. I figured the gtp would take him but it my friend is getting nervous. Honest answers.

Dont street race, its stupid. If you have to, do it on some backroads to minimize hurting others.

That said...the Audi is a 15.0 flat 1/4 stock. 0-60 in 6.5...
From a 35 roll the GTP should have him.

Only good way to find out is to go out and have a race.

Why are you asking on his behalf? Sounds like your friend should be on here himself. Nervous? Lulz....

Anyway, i would imagine he would pull the audi on a roll. They're nice cars and all, but nothing to brag about performance wise.
 


if the audi is bone stock its a drivers race. if the audi has ANYTHING done the audi takes the cake.
 
i dont think street racing is nearly as bad as people make it out to be... as long as your not a dumb ass about it.... just go where there are no other people

that being said... assuming the tune is on lock for the gtp it should have it till about 80 mph or so

Not that I don't agree with your statement(s) just found it funny with that avatar to be taken serious on this subject.
