will ws6 hood fit over intercooler

i have been lookin at hoods and was wondering if a ws6 hood will fit over a 2 1/2 in. intercooler? or anyother hoods that would fit over it?

I do not think anything beyond a 2" intercooler will clear the stock hood with the stock fuel rails.

With a bit of massaging, maybe. My 2" intercooler put the fuel rails high enough that one of the metal pieces holding the rails together made contact with the hood. A few gentle smacks of the hammer resolved the issue, but a quarter inch is substantial.

Guys..I have tons of room with a 2.25" IC. Who'd want stock rails at that though. So much cleaner w/o it.

my hood is stock and their is outward dents so the hood could shut over my 2.5ic i've checked the clearance and its not happening... i wanted to know about the ws6 hood and if it'd work to clear my supercharger

the majority of the aftermarket hoods use the same style underside as the stock hood. either youre going to need to cut the cross braces or get different fuel rails.

I have a WS6 hood on my gtp. A full size IC will fit no problem but you my need to get out the good old Dremel and modify the hood for the BBV because that will most likely hit the hood. The inside of the hood raises up a few inches after it clears the "ram air" section of the hood.

I have a ZZP s2 IC and the WS6 hood and it clears, as to what he says^^ you'll need to dremel the BBV area or it'll hit the hood.

thanks guys i think i know what hood im going with now
