ok i have a deal on a 1996 l67 bonneville and i planed on buying a grand prix to drop it in for a winter project... will it bolt right up?... will there be diffrences?... is there certain years it will fit?... any information will help a ton

im trying to think, but i believe the 96 bonne is still a seriesII. if so, it will bolt right up and work just fine.

if it's a seriesI, i think youll be out of luck as far as plug and play ability.
 
1996 was the first year for the series 2 so yes but it is also the last year for the 4t60 i think and i dont know if that is a problem... and also what about wiring harness and all that stufffff
 
keep the GP wiring harness and just use the motor. should all bolt up and work fine. if the gp you buy didnt come with an l67 then youll have to do some different work with the bbv to make it work correctly.
