Guys

I want to take off the 10in stock rotors on my 04 GT and upgrade to a 12in slotted/drilled but will they fit under a stock 16in rim?
I will also be upgrading my calipers while I got the wheels off but when I look at the clearance now, it looks tight.

yes, theyll fit. you have two choices:

1) stock 12" (11.9") upgrade that uses the stock calipers.

2) f-body brakes.
 
i dont think its really necessary, but a lot of people like them. i stopped well with the GM 12" upgrade. the GM upgrade is also at least 1/2 the price.
 
Huh. Well that's good to know. I hit a pot hole the other day and cracked my 18" wheel bad enough I can't fix it. I'm buyin a set of 16" black with silver lip honeycomb wheels from a grand am. Will they still fit?
 


Really? I read a couple of wheel websites that said after 99 the bolt pattern changed to 5x115. Not the case?
 
Ahhh. Well I just looked it up again. It looks like my year gtp has a 5x100 bolt pattern. And the 98 and older grand ams have the same pattern. But in 99 they switched to a 5x115. That sound right?
