Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Will these work for rear deck..?

Well I’m no audiophile, when I replaced my rear deck speakers ANYTHING would have been an upgrade.

Just incase this is your first time; you do realize the entire back seat needs to be removed to get at those right? :th_scratchhead:

And yes, any 6x9s should basically drop right in. FYI I had to dremel the $hit out of my mounts to get the cone/magnets to clear.

If you run into issues I can try to help.

Good luck

When i swapped my 05s out the whole seat comes out then i think i had to modify the bracket to make them work... And honestly i didnt notice a huge difference in sound... Now in my 97 the speakers need swapped because they suck.... But if i would buy another 05 i would prolly leave the stock system how it was.... I got more bass from the stocks then what i put in but it worked well when i put a sub in

I'm a mechanic... so back seat is no problem. I know the speaker is wires with two sets of wires... one for lows, and one for the mid drivers. But seeing as this is a three way speaker I am not sure how it will sound in the back, or if the addition of the tweeter will be a problem. Also if it will work well with the monsoon system... I know on a base model it would be a good upgrade... just wasn't sure on the monsoon.... should I be looking for a 2 way... or will this work good? Sorry... lol

Im running 5 way Kenwood 6x9s in my 2000 off stock wiring and theyve been holding up so i think your 3 way should sound fine for you.

I really can’t help you with all the tech stuff. I’d just try to hold out for a more knowledgeable person to chime in and/or call Crutchfield.

You really cant go with a three way, the monsoon only puts out low rang and high range. If you really need to replace them, go with a two way 6x9. You'll have to cut the tinsel lead to the tweets and wire them to your high range (I believe dark brown and yellow on the left, and dark blue and light blue on the right) But they wont sound as good as the stock, unless you can power match them.
