will the salt from the roads ruin the finish on my headers?

Soo I'm thinking about bringing my car back out a little earlyer than i planned because my car can get twice the mpg then my explorer gets. But I'm just worried about my ceramic coated headers. I dont want any of that nasty stuff to ruin the looks of it. Will it ? If so what can i do to prevent it or remove it besides not driving it at all.

Yes, expect all that nice silverish coating to fall the **** off, your bolts will break and the flanges will disappear.

Speaking from experience, I would get a set of painted headers and get them jet-hott'd.

nothing will happen to them. they are going to discolor anyway because of the heat that is running through them. they will not be a chrome color anymore.
