Will the cops bother me for this?

Ok, so i put a 12in blue LED flexible light strip on the top of each headlight on my grand prix,like the ones pictured below. Will the cops stop me for having them? I dont really know if their illegal or not, im guessing they are, but i was wondering if they would stop me for them? like for "impersonating a police officer" or something like that...

i'd think you'd be ok, as long as the lights are yellow or white on the front, no other colors are permitted by law, the back you can only run red lights.

and those lights are stock on a lot of new cars.
 
ok im just checking. cause my headlights have a yellowish tint to them. and i have a bright blue strip above them. idk cops around here try to find the littlest things possible to pull you over for.. got pulled over for doing 28 in a 25.... it sucks because with my rims my speedo is a little off, so i have to guess kinda...
 
If you ride dirty....I wouldnt do it. But if you're clean, its not illegal. All the expensive luxury car are rockin them stock.
 
Dude, Oh hell no those are NOT legal!!!!!!! I'm not 100% sure in all States. But in most of them YES!!! And yes they will get you pulled over. I guarantee you would get pulled in VA and ticketed or maybe have your car impounded. They take us regular folks having blue and/or red lights on the front of a vehicle REAL serious. Or Blue lights anywhere on a car. However... they look great!!!! IMFO.

Those are no different than running 8000k HID's

but they arent blue....they are white...

Where in the hell did you get the idea that blue lights on the front of a non emergency vehicle are legal? They aren't legal. No matter the state. Only white or amber on the front of the car.

but doesnt all the new audi,lexus,bmw, mercedes, etc have blueish lights on top of their headlights? i mean their deffinately not as blue as mine are, but its kind of the same factor isnt it? i think itll just depend on the mood of the cop..
 
Those look white. He said "like" the ones in the pic. Most websites use a generic pic to advertise their product. If he said blue, they will probably be blue(er) I assume, which will attract unwanted attention.
 
im sorry for the picture. it was jsut used to show where the lights were located on the headlights. the LED strip is BLUE not white. BLUE.Sorry for any confusion.
 


well it all depends on the cops in your area. people forget that (at least in my state) it is illegal to have HID's in cars that dont have them stock. ive never been pulled over for them, but i also lowered them so they dont shine in peoples eyes. I ran some home made halos in my fogs for a while and cops didnt care. I know a guy here that has the same things on his monte and i dont think hes ever been pulled over either.
 
Oh...if you just got an actual blue led strip, take em off. Sorry, I misunderstood. I thought you were saying like the pic...looks like an HID blue to me.
