just like the title says im trying to find a way to get my heaton to run more cool so is it worth it to use a phenolic spacer or ic and if so who sells a phenolic ic core besides mini chopper cuz im having my doubt about buying off of him
 


its really wont help all that much. the air isnt in the blower and lower intake long enough to take the heat from the motor. the only reason its heating up is because of the blower.
 
Just go ahead and get 2 spacers with a heat exchanger in the middle of them. Problem solved.

It's not the blower being hot as the main problem, it's the air getting hot because of the rotors compressing the air.
 
You can't even begin to compare even an intercooler to a spacer...thats like comparing Meth Injection to a TB Spacer...two totally different things.
 


he was referring to phenolic IC cores, too.

phenolic doesn't transfer heat as easily, but the difference isn't worth the extra cost over a normal IC. oh yeah, i'm pretty sure mini hasn't had much business as of late...
 
ya i was gunna buy one from mini cuz it cost the same as a ssic core from zzp so i though for the same price i could get a phenolic core from mini but after read blues thread that wont be happening
