will car run without EGR Valve

hello i am looking to buy a 97 grand prix he says it only needs a Egr vavle but it will start stalls out when u give it gas , will it be okay to take out the egr vavle to drive her home only few km's away
 


yes, but you need to block off the ports that go into the motor and the rear header otherwise youre going to have super huge leaks on both ends and it wont run at all.
 
^^ This, plus you will throw some codes. Just have someone with a tuner set all your EGR codes to not report.
 


cut off the flanges that are on the EGR and reuse them. all you have to do is plug up the holes in them with something (i used a nickel and a dime with some RTV)
