• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Re: Anyone else get robbed by will at overkill??

ive never ordered from him, but ive heard it can take a stupid long time for things to show up, the border has some to do with it im sure.

Re: Anyone else get robbed by will at overkill??

Took me less than 3 weeks from when i ordered to when i got my pcm.

Re: Anyone else get robbed by will at overkill??

Thanx guys for the info. I never ordered from a place that doesn't have a phone number or address before and just got a bit worried thanx a million guys

Re: Anyone else get robbed by will at overkill??

He's notorious for taking forever. I emailed him two weeks ago, emailed again, sent a message on Facebook a week ago, still no response. I was prepared to buy HPT from him, but I can't deal with someone who doesn't respond.

I was originally going to go with zzp but after reading that his programming is easier on the transmission than zzp I decided to go with him
Is there anybody else that does pcm programing I have 3 spare pcms a bigger mass airflow and some other GP parts I can trade off or cash if there is anyone that knows how to do it if not I guess I'll just go with zzp

Will does it as a side business, not defending him as I've seen many reports as to delayed responses. But it is not his primary source of income, has a real job, lol. My personal interaction with him says otherwise. Even consulting with him on his BBC Cam Specs which I subsequebtly had Comp Cams grind for me. So, maybe something is up?

Side business or not, at least notify people. Automatic email reply, facebook post, status on the website... anything is better than ignoring customers.

I purchased an Overkill Diablosport inTune program file from Will for my 06 GXP. While he did send the files in a timely fashion and I'm fairly happy with the tune, he has COMPLETELY refused to reply to several e-mails over the past year in regards to my tune and updating it. I'm not impressed with his lack of customer service. Be aware...buy anything from him via PayPal, that way you can get your money back quickly if he fails to provide what you've paid for.

As a side note, I've also dealt with Diablew tuning and Lew has been great to deal with, quick responses and great service. My only gripe is that his LS4 tuning doesn't allow my traction control to operate properly on the Grand Prix, while Will's tuning does allow it to function normal and he has the ability to tune DOD to operate in 4th gear only. Those are the features I really wanted to try from him...wish he'd deal with his customers properly though.

I've ordered from him, but had to file a paypal dispute because he didn't ship it when he said he would. I messaged him on facebook, asked him how long he thought it would take after payment to ship, he said the following tuesday (I messaged on a thursday). I paid, tuesday came and went, I messaged him again 2 days after that, no answer, followed up with a public post on his FB page, where he magically answered me with a "let me look at my emails" bs response, nothing happened for another few days, so I filed a dispute with paypal. I had a refund 2 days later.

The guy might do great tuning, but he's ****ing terrible with communicating with people who have paid him for a product. 0/10, would not recommend.

I logged in tonight *just* to ask about Overkill's customer service... I emailed him months ago asking a couple questions, no response, but finally thought it was time to order an ASI, so on May 10th I did. I didn't get an email with a tracking number and I was trying to coordinate the arrival of the ASI with some other stuff from Rockauto so I sent him another email asking about it, no reply. Getting a little irritated. For how many different platform upgrades he offers, you'd think he'd be on top of the communication game, guess not. I'll try a facebook public post and see where that gets me. Cheers for this thread I guess.

This seems to be the norm for him. I'm having the same issue with HuMount; I got one reply then nothing for months. Guess these clowns didn't take customer service in elementary school.
