will 95 mustang cobra wheels fit 98 gtp

I found a set of polished aluminum 17" 95 mustang cobra wheels (not the cobra R wheels) with tires, both in good shape for 250. how would they look on my gp and would they fit and ride good.
 


the only thing that will stop them from fitting is the offset. the offset might be too low to run on the car. why is this not in the tire/wheel forum? why havent you searched more? this has been BEATEN TO DEATH.
 
according to the PM you sent me they are the +24mm offset. good luck getting those to fit without having them rub and not stretching a tire too small for the wheel.

look at other rims would be my suggestions. the offset is too low. you will have to do more than roll the fenders to not have them rub. it doesnt sound like youre capable of doing that.
 
my brother had some 17 in. cobra wheels on his 94. dont know the offset of them but i ran the 275's at the track. no rub but they poke out some. the 225's werent all that bad.

on stock ride height going in a straight line on a smooth track.
 
no i took them down to the gas station too and turned lock to lock just to see.



come on now, i wouldent say it if i dident actually check it out. like said they do poke out some. your gonna scrub curbs before you scrub the fender...
 


You're also talking about a 94 model instead of a 98.. Two different body styles, but I'd think they'd fit on the 98 before the 94..

But you start putting Ford parts on a GM it will not run right anymore!!! LOL

Yes 94 and 95 have the same body style, I had a 95 and a 90 turbo as well as my 99 GT..

i was talking about a wheel that went on a 94 mustang referring to his 95 wheel... so it should be the same thing. thats why i mentioned it.
 
the 94 was a mustang wheel. the 98 is his gp. yea there deff two diffrent body styles :th_thumb-up:

the question was, will the 95 wheel fit on his car. i have ran a wheel that was on a 94 so it should be the same thing.
 


That will work.. I'm just tring to pry deeper because I'm looking for rims and I just like the classic 5 spoke rim on these cars!!! I have looked at the Mustang Cobra R wheels and I have looked at the Corvette C5 and ZO6 wheels.. I'm leaning more toward the C5's (Skinny spoke) to put on my car.. They will fit with the lug adapter and tuck 245/45 18's nicely!!!
 
lug adapters are stupid. just find a wheel that looks similar to it with the correct bolt pattern.
