wierd start up issue??

its really starting to piss me off. ok anywayz im told its the fuel pressure regulator "teacher" anyways. lets say car is sitting overnight outside ok no problem the morning i get in it start it up.... its cranking a good 8 to 10 seconds then it fires up. WTF is with the lag???? before i try starting it i cycle the key to hear the fuel pump whine then turn it over still 7 to 10 second lag before she starts... any1 heard of this crap?? i through plugs and wires at it to see if it would go away did nothing :th_question1:: any ideas? how would i check if the fuel pressure regulator is bad? pics would be greatly appreciated thank you guys.:th_king-normal: oh yeah and once it is started if u turn it off. and try cranking it again ti will fire up instantly..... yeah wierd ha
 


sounds like the regulator is starting to go. soon it will start. sputter sputter sputter die. and it will strand you some where if u are else where.
 
exciting autozone wants 50 bucks for one sound right? another thing is are they hard to replace i have no idea where mine even is?????
