This is going to be hard to explain. When I first cut the key on, I get the typical chime then something will click from the pass side dash. When it does this, the chime will stop along with the radio and then it comes right back. If I have the door open, I will also momentarily loose power to the dome lights. This has been happening for years now and it normally wouldn't be a big deal however it is effecting me being able to reprogram my key fob. I'll get right in the middle of the procedure and it will do it, causing me not to successfully reprogram the fob. I feel like whatever controls the run time of the radio when you turn off the key and whatever makes the dome light come on when you pull the key is going to be the culprit. I replaced the body control module and that didn't fix it. There is also a small black box under the glove box, could this be what I'm looking for?
