Widest rim you can run on a 225/50/18 tire?

i have AWD and about 130 AWHP. i dont need 265s. when i get another wbody ill probably be running a smaller tire as well so i can tuck easier. it's all about what you want to do with it.

but that is neither here nor there and this thread has gotten off track.

yeah, but your not going to run a 50 series tire.
I would not put a 225/50 on a 9" wide rim.

I know the look your going for and its cool but not on GPs. GPs have too big of fenders to do that.
