Wideband sensor failing or problem?

Car wash, got gas and Wideband starts acting up.
Dont know fuel trims as both aerroforces refused to boot recently - fml
so it usually flicks between 14.x and 15.x unless I rapidly deaccel it will go to LEN or AIR and quick jabs brings it into the 13s

well after I left I noticed I was getting into the 16s and 17s
slowly de accelerating was causing instant LEN where that usually only happened over 60mph
a good WOT run still showed 11s and 12s but it's definitely not right.

I was thinking maybe a gasket leak but it doesn't sound loud.
Maybe the sensor finally failed?

Anyone experience anything similar ?

I don't have a wideband yet, but very recently my LTFT's were bouncing at or near 16.4 and I got a P0170 (Bank 1 too lean). This started almost immediately after my last fill up. I'm running E85 on a stock tune with 42# injectors. First two tanks went through fine. LTFT's consistently around 10. Then all the sudden, boom. I'm lean.

Did they recently switch to winter blend? Shouldn't that have happened a while ago? Could that cause what we're seeing?

^ very strange possibility. I never drove this car in the winter before with a Wideband. Been parked every year .....

How many miles on the sensor??

I'd replace it if it was more than 15-20k on it, even though they say it can last 40-50k.

I'd double check the power wiring to the gauge too.

Update
car on lift and everything is solid, clean and sealed. No rust no broken wires no leaks.

Truth is , i don't think the wideband lied. It actually told me something about the gas being sold from a popular car wash chain, delta sonic
I ran that tank to empty and re filled twice at the same Sunoco. The gauge is reading like it was before this issue - completely normal.
NEVER have I seen this before and I have had gas from all over here to ohio - no issues ( BP, mobile, crosbys...)

Seem like they might be using a bit more than E10 in those 93 pumps...
