Hey so i was watching my boost guage today and noticed its hitting 13psi for a few seconds, it shifts at 5700

mods
intake
headers
rockers
genv
3.4

I have a fs intercooler that im putting on soon, and a 3.0 pulley, also plan to buy 60# injectors and hp tuner so i can switch from 93 to e85 at the track. do you think i will over boost my car with the 3.0 pulley, wouldnt that put it somwhere around 17psi, aka blown heads. It seems to me like i need a cam and heads

sounds fine to me. it's still cold outside.

with an intercooler you'll lose boost. that 3.0 won't push 17lbs. and even if it did that doesn't automatically mean you're gonna blow the head gaskets.

oh good ok I always thought over 15 was a death sentence

btw the intercooler is an irc so its about 2 inches thick do you have any idea how much boost you loose with that thick of ic

yea i dont even want to talk about kr, i have a bunch of false kr, I have to bring it up to 3k before i can wot or it shows like 15kr, otherwise she zero all the way to 150 except for soe blips at the beginning of 3rd

Oh you're the one that bought that.

I wanted that. :(

Boost is mostly just valves floating. No matter what rockers you have youll need upgraded springs to avoid the sudden decrease in volumetric efficiency at rpm.
