• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Why people dont like forums

Crap like bashing the new members is hilarious... Nevermind that once you didn't know anything either... And forget that this is a forum, not a FAQ... Remember: all that matters is you get the chance to feel better than someone else...

Really? Is this where every internet community winds up? The life cycle of any forum seems to go from member drive, to swearing this one won't be like those jerks from the last forum, to sarcastic posts to new members and eventual flat line... Is the goal to wind up having the same 7 members log in every day and hold a round table on the latest noob and how they aren't good enough to post, or to build a community... Internets got room for both ^.^

All of the nasty post is the reason why I took so long to post here after joining. Honestly the main reason I started to post on a regular basis was because of the horrible information that is given in the turbo section.

CGP is on the decline, but they still have a knowledgeable turbo forum.

I have my avatar from GMForum.com (used to be Bonnevilleforum.com) I was one of the few southern guys on the forum that was an active user and part time moderator. They're just like us, knowledgeable, helpful, and sarcastic as hell, makes it fun but sometimes it DOES have its drawbacks. I still have my bonnie but wanted to go somewhere specific to the GTP when i bought it. No complaints, but a couple of you did have to grow on me. :th_winking:

Was kinda perfect... we find a bad plug wire and she says "What do we do now". I took her back and positioned her hands on the trunk lid and said "push" :th_laugh-lol3:

ROFLMAO HaHaHaHa Ill have to remember that next time. Every-time something breaks that is my GFs response.

I just posted some stuff I shouldn't have...

It's no different than me spouting off a smartass remark sometimes. I'm bad about that.

its a lack of respect, new or not. have some respect for people and their opinions. Or get mad b/c someone questions you. Nobody does shhhh the same. Hell I had a thread get closed because everyone was getting upset because i questioned them. ooooooooo, cmon grow a sack takes a bigger person to show respect than just demand it from someone.

We established how sarcasm works.

You moron :th_burger:

"Some parties are loud and others are quite. Sometimes serious conversation takes place, other times everyone just wants to fool around.

But when you go to a party, you usually take a moment to have a good look around and see what everyone is like – what is everyone talking about – which ones are more like you – which ones are very different to you, etc. sometimes you leave conversations straight away, other times you just observe, and sometimes you stay for a while.

But you always make sure that you are understood, and this is where the written text is unfavorable. It can be hard to convey your true meaning in text, without tone of voice or body language. So it is important to know that not everyone uses the same methods as you to convey meaning, and sometimes you will be misinterpreted. So just make sure that you make yourself completely clear when in conversation."
