Why is my hud crosseyed?

It's actually sort of a double vision type of issue. If I tilt my head to the right, it lines up and becomes one image. otherwise, it's 2 very slightly separated images. Not so bad that it's useless, just mildly annoying.
So, who knows what's causing this, and what can I do about it?
