Muffler delete. Sounds good. Isnt raspy, is a bit louder, minimal backfire or whatever, and its cheap as hell. Is there a reason? Do you need mufflers for back pressure? Im not experienced at all with exhaust but i dont see many people doing this and it sounds great and is cheap so i supposed there has to be some reason.

Back pressure is a myth.

It's all about exhaust scavaging and correct velocity.

Most people don't like loud. No mufflers gets loud.
 
Backpressure isn't a problem with these cars.

And honestly, you cannot hear what the car really sounds like through a video.

Many cameras have very poor audio quality.
 
Hm. I may do this for a while then, and then when i get annoyed/bored/decide i dont actually like it, put my mufflers back on?

Sure.

Why don't you just buy a cutout and put it after the resonator that'll fail like they all do since it's your DD?
 
I mean i thought it sounded good, yeah its louder, but unlike most of the time where its raspy as hell and sounds like a tin can and what not, or too quiet you cant even hear it, this is right in between...
 


Granted I had catless headers...and a huge glasspack...but I basically had no muffler(Proflo before the "Y") and full 3" piping...

I'm sure with a HFC and getting rid of that bullet style muffler I had might have made things a bit quieter...who knows.
 
When you're 40 years old, you'll think it's one of the dumbest thing to do to your car. There's a reason why older folks aren't putting fart cans on their Accords and Camrys.
 
Mufflers are meant to give a different tone to the car and even the pitch

with nothing it only sounds decent at certain rpms and rest of the time it sounds like poopoo (especially prop sounds horrid on the highway)

In my opinion no muffler sounds like no muffler, which means to other people it sounds like your exhaust fell off and that its not intentional
 


It sounds like sh!t and it rasps. Trust me I tried it for about 2 weeks. If you want to change the pitch and or loudness get headers and replace the stock resenator with a glasspack.

If its still not loud enough get some different muffs. But I would not go without them.
