Who has any side jobs?

Anyone have any side jobs other than there primary job? Just trying to get some ideas. I really need a side job, the pay cuts my company gave to everyone is really starting to hit home. I really need another income, preferably something with flexable hours since my hours are flaky at times.

Not that I ever get any damn business but I do computers, if you're good with engine work there's deffinatley money to be made there.

Well I have my own small business called "Micks auto detail and repair". I detail and fix cars inside and out. I do pretty good as far as business

Don't know if this counts but I work as a housekeeper at a hospital and they will ask me to work as a CNA time to time, time and a half ftw!

I have a small (really small) side business with arcade games, juke boxes and pool tables in a couple bars. It's tough to get into and requires more capital than it's worth to most.

Otherwise..I've been working on local guys cars for small money. There's a lot of new local guys hitting the GP scene and they all want rockers or top swaps etc. I'm not making much, but helping out w/o overcharging feels right.

Installed 1.9's and springs etc including changing the valve seals for $150
Top swap with motor pulling for $250

Feels like I'm giving it away, yet in these tough times..I'm helping out and making a little extra on the side.

I do quite a bit of home repair/remodeling work on the side. Anything from full kitchen, bath, basement remodels, deck building, tiling, etc etc etc. It's something that I'd love to do full time - but it's certainly feast or famine - and a lot of the latter for the last year and a half.

I'm formulating a way to offer myself to DIY'ers on a consultant type basis - not really a "designer", but kind of like "tech support" for home repairs, etc. Not quite sure how I want to do this yet - or if it's even feasible. I also do home inspections as well...which reminds me...I need to renew my license. Ugh.

i do electrical work with my old boss if he needs me. usually i work enough during the week. but the extra money does help

I mow lawns and trim bushes. I work on friends cars. I do some car audio installation. i ripped out bushes and helped build a deck at my parent house. I dont even have a full time job this summer but ive still managed to make somewhere in the ballpark of $1200 doing these things this summer an also i had an under the table full time job for 2 weeks but only worked 55 hours. still made a good chunk of change though.

Great input, thanks!

With a wife a baby on the wife and the life we want, I really need to think about something extra. If anything, throw any extra into savings which i'm still trying to do though damn near impossible. And I have a collage fund to start too! LOL

I sure hope I can find something...

I used to work at Sears, in the docks. We had another older guy working with us some nights, he only worked there for the 20%? off discount and then there was always hot young high school girls that we could look at.

Im just getting out of concrete work full time. I did it for almost three years and there is quite a bit of money in it so I'll do that on the side now. Quite a skill to have. I know it'll come in handy when i pour a patio out back

well I work on cars for people that come into the store and have no clue on how to fix their crap. and I am a student so any unclamed income is helpfull.
