who has a harley

im about to get my first harley im looking at a v-rod but my dad keeps telling me its to much bike for me he has a road glide and my uncle has a street glide

I have riddin a vrod and did not like it. If you have never riddin before it would be a lot of bike. What kinda experience do you have?

a 600 is the biggest bike ive rode this is my dads bike, i dont know if i want a bagger

600 what? Makes a bigg difference. I like the sportster nightster or the xr1200. Not a big fan of the boats, my father has a deluxe and I hate ridding that.

get you a sporster 1200. they are good bikes to start off with for a harley. you can still make them look good and still enjoy the open road with out killing yourself

I will have to second the motion on the Sportster. I had never ridden before and got myself Sportster XL1200C. I absolutely love it. Not overly powerful, but not weak in the knees either. Plus they are very customizable.

Sporster is an excellent starter harley, my parents have an 02 deuce and I LOVE riding it...

Save you money and buy something other than a HD. You pay quite a bit for that little name on the tank.

get a v-twin anything but harley. youre just paying for a name and expensive parts when the other companies make bikes that are just as good for literally 1/2 the price or less.
