Ok I have asked a few of you guys why my S/C is white, and no one has been able to give me a good answer. So I will make a thread about it. For some reason the Snout and the blower case are an off white color. Now before someone says "IT WAS PAINTED" I highly doubt it. It just doesn't look like it was modified. Also the people I got it from would not have painted it. If you guys need to see pics I will show you.

It was probably painted.

Pics?

SPADE... NO.. Just because you said it was painted no pics for you...

Kinda blurry..... But snout and case are the same color.

Painted or Powdercoated

I say this with the proof that you said "It just doesn't look like it was modified. Also the people I got it from would not have painted it", but the Dogbones are factory black... not red like they are painted

And a good paint or powdercoat job will look like it was meant to be that way. :th_winking:

Dude, I gave you a straight answer the last time you asked about it...I'm telling ya...it's a Magnuson Snout.

They are white-ish. Kinda like a dirty white.

Also, Airplane Paint stripper will take everything off, including the factory gray coating...so that would kinda ruin that.

Yea i checked into the magnuson snout and then i remembered that the whole blower is that color. Not just the snout... Sorry I didn't mean for it to sound like you didn't try to help.

See notice the BLACK dogbones... If the previous owner painted them red... they could have painted the SC white
