White letter tires?

Ok I've looked all over and no luck or leads on where to find any solid or raised white letter tires. Not drag radials, street tires for gtx rims. 235/55r17. And can I run smaller side walls size? Like 50 or 45? Thanks
 


Good luck finding them in your size, and no you should not run a smaller side wall. It will look dumb and handle worse and also mess up the speedo.

I know of only a few tires that have white letters on them.

BFG makes the Radial T/A, they a popular with older muscle cars.

Firestone makes the INDY 500 tires with raised white letters.

And I think Goodyear makes a Eagle GT tire with raised white letters.
 
ebay sells this white paint I have used it but would never use it again followed all the instructions to the letter then about 4 weeks later it turned brown tried bleach and it would not whiten, only thing to do is repaint it every 4 weeks and he sayd this is the ast month selling on ebay next month it will only be available in Florida. He had that on there when I bought it 3 years agao

Perfect I'm looking right now. I new that smaller side wall handle bad but not all that.

I've haven't tried that stuff but I tried another and was the worst cheap looking *rap I've ever seen. Thanks for the info.
 
I used the Elmer's paint markers from Walmart lol. Super cheap, looks good, and lasted for at least 6months looking great and about a year with slight dulling. I mine white one time, silver another, and silver with a blue outline another.
If your just wanting to buy the tires like that, I really like the look of Firestone Indy 500 ones. I saw a guy once do 255/50/16 on a stock rim. Sure the tire isn't meant to be put on that skinny of a rim but looks wise, it was killer.
