white face gauges for 07???

vailskier3

just call me john-o
does anyone know how easy it is to change the gauge faces, or where a good place to buy some would be?

on another note, does anyone know how hard it would be to change all of the display lights from red to another color?

Changing the lights would be a lot of work. I had someone else do the major parts (climate controls and gauges), while I got an aftermarket radio that matches. Then, I did all the switches myself. It was still a lot of work with a soldering iron, LEDs, and resistors.

Though the effect is nice.

The stereo matches a lot better in person, and I've since taken care of the steering wheel cruise buttons.

Dang, so basically if i'm not too good with LED's or resistors, I am going to have to do a lot of research. Yours looks really good, and I would like to do something like that, but my prix just has all those red lights in it, and i would really like to change them over. I don't really think I would have to mess with my climate controls though, so maybe it wont be too bad. I'm more concerned with the info center, and gauges and door buttons.

Props on yours though, it looks great! I'm jealous...

One reason I never bought a Pontiac.

Thanks. Was quite a bit of work with some shipping back and forth on a couple items. Took me about a week to get the switches all done to my satisfaction. I recently had the passenger door window switch go out (first one I did when I started) and found a bad solder connection that broke loose. At least when you did it you know how to fix it. :th_thumbsup-wink:

Holly crap Sabrewings, that first pic looks like a friggin space ship cockpit :)

Is that yours?

:th_biggrin2:

That's my Impala. Looks a bit different now that I took care of the cruise controls, moved my aeroforce gauge to a pillar pod, and added a blue fuel pressure gauge.
