• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

White carbon special edition gauge cluster

They have to send out the digital speedometer clusters got get modified. Ours are analog, you can probably disassemble your old one and take out the drums, and put it in the new one. If you can do that, you should be good to go.

i bought the same cluster on ebay. Looks ****ing awesome. I'm holding off on installing it for the reasons gr8 mentioned. Its something like a 15,000 fine for mileage fraud. If your going to be switching clusters you have to let the dmv know, so they can change the title of the car. You can't just swap clusters back and fourth, the system doesn't work that way (at least here in NJ) I spoke with someone at my local gm dealership, they send out clusters to read actual mileage when one gets replaced, some speedometer specialists.

You only have to worry about these issues if you plan on selling your car, in my case I dont and I have the mileage logged and have the old cluster. I can see where a dishonest person might try to take advantage of this but like the previous posts say if you are worried about it or plan on getting rid of it you might want to check with your states dmv for proper procedure.

i should do this since i have a new engine :) Cheating ftw

Just kidding. follow the law kiddies

that **** looks hawt though @ CF cluster

Got mine today, took me like 15 mins to install it does make everything flow alot better. Here is a picture of it at night for those who wanted one.

People who do roll backs should be able to change your new cluster for you.

IIRC here you need a sticker that says "cluster replaced with this many KM on it for this other unit with so and so KM on it."

Easy as pie! This is from a regular cluster I was gonna add led's and a stainless bezel to.(unsure now that these are about the cost of just the led bulbs) It had some odd mileage I would never have remembered so I put the spindle in the chuck of my drill and taped the trigger down. Took like 10-15 minutes to wind it up past 999999 and back to zero. And obviously I am gonna put a few stickers notating the mileage on the cluster. Although this car will probably stay with me til it falls apart beyond repair or I wreck it...

Speedhut over lay = fake carbon fiber, and looks cheep. (IMO)

Yes, its a sticker, but its real carbon fiber, so they makes up for it. LOL :th_thumbsup-wink:

They all look nice when installed, fake or real. Anything looks better than the stock one...its good to be different and do something custom. I support them all.

LOOKS AWESOME! so it lights up red at night? cause i like that baout these cars...

and do you or anyone else know if it comes in KPH as i live in canada????? looks really awesome!

No I dont think they come in kmh but all us based clusters have kmh on them anyway. there is a pic of it at night a few posts up

Mine already broke. The gauges stopped working so i had to put my stocker back in and waiting for my new one in the mail :(

pumping some juice back into this thread

yes they do come in km/h

my attempt to custom making one begins... does anyone have a dead on shot of the cluster, as close as possible, but not to close as cutting it off the image?
and preferably without the dash surround covering the edges, i need every little bit i can get

if my prototype succeeds, then i may just start selling some i know some will want to do a group buy

here is the km/h cluster: (note these are more rare the the MPH ones)
