They look pretty good, that should look pretty sweet in the car

I snagged up some GXP Gauges for my 04 cause I liked the background on it as well.

First time i have drivin the car at night and the guages where a little brighter than the origional they looked and worked great!

what's nice is when the lights come on in the dash, they appear checkered from the faux carbon fiber print. :th_thumbsup-wink:

..and the white face gauges give the needle centers a "halo" when the lights are on at night.

Those look nice.

Question though...isn't it law that you have to report, or note somewhere on the title that the instrument gauge cluster display was replaced and note the mileage at which time it was done. That way you and the future buyer are protected against fraud. I know this is Kansas Law, might look into that before you drive it anymore.

If you don't note it or report it with the VIN # you could pay a fine or serve jail time, or both. I know they are VERY strict on that stuff here.

The one I pictured, not any more. I picked it up on ebay yes, but they don't sell them anymore, or at least I have not seen any for quite some time.

I did buy a brand new one off a local member who never installed it in his car, and was demodding to sell off everything GP related. I'm saving it for the RWD GP project, so both my cars match...somewhat.

^ya, but your driving the car with another display, so the miles are adding to that one, and not your original one. You put the old one back in if you ever sell the car, and it might read 100K miles less than what you actually drove it. Or you leave the newer after market on in there, and only have 50 or 80K miles on a car that's like 15 or 20 years old. Don't say anything...or note it...its against the law pretty sure.

Dude you keep both clusters and add the mileage from both, it is only illegal if your an idiot and dont write down the mileage or keep the old cluster. This thread is about the white carbon fiber speacial edition cluster. Since legal issues have been brought up I would advise everyone to check the law within your state before installing a cluster or you can put one of those carbon fiber plates over your existing cluster if you dont want to change the look of the actual dash. I myself think the carbon fiber cutouts look like what they are a sticker.

i bought the same cluster on ebay. Looks ****ing awesome. I'm holding off on installing it for the reasons gr8 mentioned. Its something like a 15,000 fine for mileage fraud. If your going to be switching clusters you have to let the dmv know, so they can change the title of the car. You can't just swap clusters back and fourth, the system doesn't work that way (at least here in NJ) I spoke with someone at my local gm dealership, they send out clusters to read actual mileage when one gets replaced, some speedometer specialists.
