White car Black hood? yes?

Hey guys, i know i will probably get a lot of **** for this but i saw a white grand prix the other day with a black hood really quick. I was wondering if anyone has seen any pictures of how this would look. It would go with my black and white theme. Just looking for input. Thanks guys

Some people like them and some people don't but a white hood with black striping that is carried from the hood through the trunk could look much better than a black hood I think
 
97-03 and 04-08 can't necessarily mimic either. If it works well for Dave, don't expect that it will look good on a 97-03 (though it might).

Regardless, most people assume black hood, different colored car means "broken piece of ****" or something along those lines. As mentioned, to make it look good, you'd have to black out the roof and trunk and spoiler.

black hood on a white car says RICE i dont know if thats what your into then go for it.. i have a white GTP thats blacked out dont have my headlight cover anymore though

exposed carbon fiber is super, crazy rice. it serves one purpose: being light. if you are using it to say '**** YEAH I GOT CARBON FIBER!', then you're an idiot.

just saying that's a one of like 7 or 9 carbon fiber hood so he is not poor haha, this car was stolen, stripped and ditched for it's rare parts

He was probably an idiot, but I think is words speak true here :th_jester:


White car needs a white hood, I'm all for accents, even getting a CF hood and painting it all BUT leaving accents. Just has to be clean.
 


If you got and F1 or SD carbon fiber hood and painted all of it except for the raised scoop part, that might be kinda cool... but that's really the only way i can see pulling it off.

Not to be following in Jeremy's footsteps, especially since my GTP is silver too. I planned on getting a SD hood and spoiler and stripping in black from the end of the "scallops" back to just before the spoiler. None on the bumpers, just clean wide stripes that flow with the car.

Similar to ^^^ that... just with the SD hood instead. & Silver on Black lol
