Hi everyone

New to the site been a GP owner since 2000:)

175,000 miles original owner

Just recently developed a whistling noise when cold can't locate source, stops when you open the oil fill or once engine is warm.

Any thoughts

you need to replace your PCV valve.

if youre n/a its located on the passenger side of the upper intake manifold under a cap.

if youre supercharged its located on the top of the blower under a metal cap.

if you take the valve out and shake it and it doesn't rattle then it needs to be replaced.
 
They're cheap to replace, under $5. Be careful while doing this when it's cold as the plastic is going to be very brittle. I've broken the plastic caps many times lol
