im gonna start buying new parts to help the life of the motor..with almost 90k on the motor what preventative maint. would you do? fuel pump? radiator? how about replacing stock wp with a Meziere EWP? :th_winking:

and which parts hurt the motor when they break? replacing these parts are my priority next

thanks guys

fuel filter, good oil, new spark plugs, some seafoam, change supercharger oil, fluid flush(anti freeze, trans, power steering)
what year you driving?

who cares? 90k miles is nothing. drive it until something actually breaks or you break it from putting to much power through it.

Well, like others have said, first thing is to flush out the Dexcool and use green coolant. #2 Change spark plugs #3 New front O2 sensor

Also consider, as TurboTrav mentioned, putting a can of SeaFoam in your gas. SeaFoam it is awesome stuff and best used as a preventative measure. I highly recommend doing this as step #1.5 :th_thumbsup-wink:

And an oil change very 5K, as always.

i like my water pump, dexcool works just fine, just keep it fresh. Yellow is basically the same as dexcool.

i ran straight old school green too, but i had my motor apart enough that i never actually did a real flush on my car and it was all green and no sludge.

LOL me too. no sludge in there at all. took a hose to the water jackets with the knock sensors out actually.

just do your normal maintenance. my car has over 300k and i have int done much more then that and it runs great. fix it when you know it need to be done.
