Which oil do you use?

The OP has been the champ and is running 0W-20....

The reason you have wear is because the oil isnt thin enough.

Couch, what sort of oil pressure are you seeing?

talked in PM but will share here. i will check my oil pressure when i get a chance. don't have a gauge so gotta borrow my buddies tech II.

biggest difference i noticed is easier cold starts. I also had a very quiet valvetrain noise before switching. now i hear nothing.

over 20,000km on 0w20 with no issues.

I see someone likes the extra ZDDP for their engine. I run the same oil in my 74 MG. Good stuff.

My uncle runs it in his BBC...

And plenty of dirt track races use it as well...even though they rebuild motors nearly every season...it helps to keep bearings/wear in check for sure...as well as oil pressure.
