• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

which is left/right?

Left is always driver's side. If that's what the box said, then that's how I would mount them.

AFAIK the rotor in the original picture on the top is in fact the drivers side just like the other pictures show. The slots should angle towards the front of the car ie the drivers side should be \\\ I know I always thought different until I purchased a set from powerslot for my old Jetta and when I called them and checked their website they actually confirmed that this is how the rotors are supposed to be installed. Just like the Baer systems. Hope this helps!

I have never heard that before War. What I was always told, and others have confirmed, was the direction makes a difference on your pads more than anything. You have them reversed, and the slots will actually eat your pads to death. So, yes, you can run them anyway you want to, they will still work regardless, but they are directional, and should be installed the correct way.

Most all slotted rotors are direction for that very reason, and if the maker is nice enough, they will stamp a L or an R in the hat for you to make installment easy and pain free...also less confusing. :th_peaceout:

Mine were marked L and R, to be installed the way I have them (with the slots sweeping forward). I believe this is to be consistent with their rotors with directional vanes.

Either way, the slots are still going to cut the pad since they're not parallel to the rotor. The only way to tell if there's a difference would be to mount the same rotor on both sides of the car (so that they sweep in opposite directions) and measure pad wear.

Mine have been like this for over 3 years. No problems.
IMO, I dont think it matters which way they go for stock type rotors because the cooling vanes are straight.
