• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

which is a better car

Let's see:

#1 - G37X (AWD) <- Sportier and good in the winter, if you don't need a family hauler this is your best choice hands down.

#2 - G8 GT/GTO SAP <- If it's not the SAP I'd get the G8

G37? No thanks.

Definately the G8, i've grown to like em quite a bit, almost as much as a GTO. Can't go wrong there either. Both cars FTW.

If you don't need the passenger space I say a good used C5 then throw on a set of heads, cam, headers, catback, gears, stall, and a set of slicks and have some real fun. That was my plan for possibly next summer. Now with a few life changing plans, that will have to wait a little while longer. Some day I'll have one though, and a buddy to enjoy it with me too.....

Really depends what he's looking for because off the line the G37 is faster, and top end on it is very good. I like the clutch on them more than the GTO too (I haven't driven the AWD G37 though just the S) 322 HP AWD Coupe is awesome and unless he wants to carry a family the G8 doesn't seem like a good choice either really I'd go for the GTO.

i would say if u have enough money to consider getting a g8 then i would buy a gto...u can get one now for like 20,000 with under 20,000 miles...nd than that leaves u a whole lot of extra cash to put into modding.

GTO. more room to move around in compared to the G8..... IMO.

like said earlier... I picked my 05 up for 18,500, with 18,500 miles on it...

there are even better deals out there as well!

Your right I've seen them go for less than that. There was a yellow one with 20k on it and they were only asking $15,900 for it!

Where you been lately anyways too busy on the GTO boards?

i have been looking at the g8 myself even tho it is completely out of reach at the moment, i can have hopes right? i prefer 2 door cars but the g8 looks good even with 4 and you can buy it they way u want it option wise

The G8 GXP is the fastest...pushes about 415 stock

Meh, it is questionable. Depends on the driver IMO in most conditions...I say test drive them all and whichever one you like the best go with...afterall...its your money!! :D

G8 got plently of potential to turn those tables easily. And the aftermarket is endless. Plus a G8 is a good looking car to begin with IMO. G37 wouldn't even make it in this option list anyway.

I do agree though, i'd go for the GTO over the other 2 though. I was on the look out for a clean stock GTO myself, but now I want a C5 to toy with. But now thats on hold too....

One time bish I tend to disagree...for the money if you can find one...VQ37's LOVE boost...and it's not like they pull near as close times as the GTO and G8 for being down 2 cylinders too and nearly HALF the motor size...slap a small scroll single turbo setup on there and bye bye bishes :D

i would buy the g37 before a g8 or gto, but thats my opinion in thinking that most GM cars are junk. i want a luxury car, not a rattling plastic interior.
