which color inlay do i buy?

Yeah it stays on no problem. I did put a few coats of wax on the car so im sure that helps. Mines been.on for 2 years in the chicago winters. It took awhile to do but I think.its worth it! Thanks!
 


cool! i just need to buy some paint still. a GM dealer near me said they had to order it and it was $15! i don't know if thats reasonable but it seems high for me. and galaxy silver seems to be a pretty common color i don't know why they don't have any...

I got.mine online from automotivetouch up. Think it was like 15 shipped.
 
by the way pontiac racer, the pictures i posted of my red inlays are not red, they are black with a red border that's why they don't pop out in every picture, im sure red would pop a ton with silver but i went with red because i painted my lower fascia gloss black
 
ok thanks for letting me know cause it did look a tad dark but it still looks cool. i don't think I'm gonna go with red cause i don't have any other red on my car. everything is black or silver and i think that one red inlay wouldn't fit in with the car. but thats just my opinion. yours on the other hand has more red accenting on it. my tail lights are red but i plan on tinting them black
 
I just had my Led tails tinted dark but not black, its a rare color i was able to achieve and at first didnt like it because it doesnt match my red black and silver theme i have going but during the day you can have them on it looks good. I've already gotten a ton of compliments from strangers.

My engine bay is red and black too.

People have achieved the look with painting but for it wasnt easy, i tried it. It was easier to just pay 20 dollars for the sticker, heat the areas up and stick, plus you can remove them any time you want.
 


On a side note, why does everyone blur out their license plate? i don't care if people see my plate. These arent honda civics with swapped motors that get stolen all the time. All my pics show my license plate and it doesn't bother me. I also keep my car in a garage though too. Just wondering why people do that.


On a side though. Get THESE tailights (the led RED ones) and get the silver or blue inlay, leave the fascia the stock grey color and it will all blend LIKE THIS

people have already pin pointed my location. not exactly where i live, but pretty close. i don't need any stalkers flowing me around. just a safety thing for me. my car sits outside at my dads house but is in a garage at my moms house. damn where did you find those roof rails. i could use some of those! how much are those tail lights? mine leak and have cracks and the poem ones are like $120 each
 
You can find roof rails on here from time to time for around 100 dollars, the lights i think are by spyder or dash z and go for about 180.

If your paranoid about people knowing you or following you how is making your vehicle stand out a good idea? Hmm colored inlays roof rails led tails? Yep I know where that guy lives....... Doesn't make any sense for someone that's paranoid someone might be able to figure it out.
 


Yeah i just lay it all out there. I tried looking up my plate number and searching for who i was but you have to pay 20 dollars. Even when someone with the license plate of PANIC BH (BH for blackhawks license plate) was driving like an absolute ass in his s4 while i was semi, I called the plate in and they couldn't give me any info. So if cops can't give you any info then i don't see how general public can figure it out. (again these are just grand prix. Some have parts that are very hard to find but for the most part its not like a swapped engine in a hatchback that everyone wants to steal.
 
People who want to know will ALWAYS TRY HARDER than you........

If there is a will theres a way kind of thing. Just saying if the OP is concerned might as well go and paint the car pink maybe that will help it blend in!.... LOL
 
Thousands of people see your license plate when you are driving, at the store, at the movies, etc. No one cares.
