Next on the list is a heat-soak-reduction kit and the 93 octane tune.....should get that this week. After that, claybar and waxing some time in October.

Looks Good! You ought paint that engine cover red where the silver is to match your car. That would look sweet!
 


I'm not a fan of the stock cover....I only have it on to keep the engine a little cleaner. I'm waiting for more options in the aftermarket before updating it.
 
Yeah, I'm jealous too. Especially of how easily all the brand new bolts on your exhaust probably came apart. LOL. Very nice DuBob!
 
Hopefully he'll be traded it in for the '09 G8 GXP!!!!!!!!!!! 6.2L LS3 415 horses!!! awesome and late next year pontiac is introducing its G8 ST (sport truck) featuring the 6.0l v8
 
^ another gas guzzler that will have trouble selling? I know it has all the new technology but people just see American trucks as guzzlers and they don't sell. The Ram SRT-10, and Ford Lightning can be had for so cheap because they guzzle gas like crazy. SRT-10s for under $20k and lightnings for a little over $10k. Thats a $55k SRT-10 just a few years ago, and a $30k+ Lightning same.

My wife has the G8 GT, and I'm getting a GXP next year.....so we'll have two G8's. Mine will have the same mods, except I'll do long-tubes.
 
^ DuBob, your grand prix single handedly sold me on buying one.... I think I let you know that before, but wanted to reiterate that

Just an update.....looks like I am bumping up my plans for the GXP. I should find out today for sure.
 


I have someone interested, they are trying to get the finances together. If that falls through, I'll demod it instead. I don't owe anything on the GTP so I can get a GXP awhile.
