where to get Ls7 lifters???

So i went to the dealer today thinking i was going to get Ls7 lifters since, one of mine sounds like its starting to collapse. I get there and the guy behind the counter tells be its going to be $600.00 for a set. I laughed and walked out. Any suggestions on where to buy? The comp cam set from intense is almost a quarter the price, i was thinking of just getting those. Looks like my top swap is going to be delayed again, I might as well just start crying now.
 


It's my understanding that the lifters were redesigned for the LS7 and they replaced the previous ones. This means that any new lifters for the 3800 or the LSx engines should be the new LS7 lifters unless someone has some old stock sitting on a shelf.
 
I called them just to be sure. He said the book showed the same part # as the Ls7's. Nice find!!!

ohhh... I wasn't aware they sold a set of 12. I saw the set for the 3800 but I wasn't sure if they were oem :th_jester:
