Where are you guys going to buy slicks for you're rims? I'm preferrably looking for some Hoosier QTPs. Just seeing where the best prices can be had.....

the last post on the page, seems you might want to read, his review would make me rethink the QTP's.
Ok, and?
just cause he is trapping doesnt mean he is hooking off the line where it counts. Ive used et streets, dr streets,et slicks, nittos and bfg's DR's, out of ALL of them the DR streets hooked the absolute best. especially after a 2 hour drive to the track.
The mickeys dont take much at all to make sticky, have great sidewall flex and ridigitiy at the same time.
When the mickey DR's came out a few years back mickey put them up against the best slick in the world at the time which was the ET DRAG's. they eclipsed the ET Drags in both 60's times and spin time for heat up, those two things are the most important with drag tires besides pressures ect but thats a given.
Lets put it this way, most of us that are still in the game and have track toys, we all have mickeys on there, from a 9 second civic to dual forced induction viper, to many f bodies ect. they have proven themselves with our needs and what more can I say, from personal experience Id go with a MT.
132 would be friggin sweet but I dont think any of us are going that quick unless there is a gp shell on the tube chassis.
In other words, they get squirmy at high speeds..I dont like high speed cornering at speed with these tires
again. Maybe if you would have read what you linked
In other words, they get squirmy at high speeds..
and also. I wouldnt be comparing slicks on a FWD to a RWD...
people in the F-body love the Nitto 555Rs, but no one in the W-body does. They just dont work good with FWDs. I do have some and they are better then any street tire and work good for street racing, but not if you wanna get the lowest 60'.
